Punctuality and Courtesy
Arriving late may interfere with your treatment, all appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and a full charge will be applied. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to treatment if it is your first appointment at the salon. We require this time for you to develop an understanding of the way you would like the treatment to be done.
Cancellations or Change
Cancellation or change of treatment times within 24 hours of your booking will incur a charge of 50% of the full original treatment value. If you fail to show for the appointment, our treatment(s) will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure.
As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with the salon (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.
How to cancel or change your appointment:
Cancellations should be made by calling us on 0203 488 3276. If you are cancelling outside of normal salon operating hours - you may cancel by email but this should be followed up by telephone call at 07725503666.
Purchase of Retail Products
Beauty products must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering.
Prepaid Courses of Treatments
All the prepaid courses have a validity of 6 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Gift Vouchers are non refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session.
Vouchers are only redeemable against the treatments from the price list at full price at the time of treatment.
Vouchers cannot be used or redeemable against the purchase of products.
Late cancellation and "failure to show" terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers - which will be voided at the salon should you fail to give the required notice. Please check required notice periods based on the value of the booked treatment(s).
We do not offer refunds for any completed services. However if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact us. We will try our utmost to resolve any problems.
We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Please note that it is illegal to smoke anywhere in the Salon.
Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion like to send you details of open evenings and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know.
Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.
We do not recommend waxing or facials before or after sunbeds, sauna, or sunbathing
We do not recommend pedicures treatments if you suffer from athlete's foot, Verrucae or fungal infections.
A skin test is required 24 hours before having an eyelash tint (new clients only)
Bring open-toed shoes for your Pedicure
It is advisable to leave all jewellery at home before treatments i.e. massage, facials etc.
In the interest of comfort of all our clients, please refrain from using a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off, or on silent, for the full duration of your time at the salon.
Please understand that we cannot accommodate children under 12 unless supervised by an adult during your treatment.
Patch testing required for clients who have never had eyelash tinting.
Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
Wedding make-up may be booked up to 6 months prior to your wedding day. We are unable to accept bookings prior to this.
In the event of booked therapist becoming unavailable on your wedding day, we reserve the right to provide service through another trained therapist to carry out the application.
You may book one free 15 minute consultation with our therapist to discuss your bridal make-up and the services offered. This is normally offered 1-3 months prior to your wedding day.
Deposits and final payment
A 50% deposit is required to secure any wedding make-up trial(s). This is to be paid at the time of booking. Final payment is due on the day of your make-up trial.
Your right to cancel or change
You reserve the right to cancel your wedding day make-up until 72 hours prior to your wedding day. The following charges will be made and late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.
More than 61 days notice. Full refund less £10 administration charge.
Up to 61 days to wedding day - 30% loss.
60-31 days to wedding day - 50% loss.
30-4 days to wedding day - 75% loss.
3 days or less until wedding day - 100% loss.
Trials: If you wish to change the time of your make-up trial, standard cancellation terms apply.
Our right to cancel
If a therapist is not available to carry out your treatments through circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative therapist. In unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone - where possible.
We reserve the right to:
Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website
Change the conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions then you must immediately stop using the website and/or our services.
Treatment and Product Descriptions, Images & Pricing
Each treatment or product purchased is sold subject to its Treatment & Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of treatments and products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.
Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Treatment & Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. The images shown on the Website are for illustration purposes only. Images may be copied, downloaded and reproduced for your own personal use only.
All prices published on the website are in GBP (Pound Sterling).
Promotional Code Disclaimer
You can use published promotional codes in the salon only and not in conjunction with any other offer. Gift vouchers and sale items are excluded from offers. These offers are not for resale or publication and only apply to personal orders with all orders being subject to acceptance under First1One Hair & Beauty Salon standard terms and conditions.
Minimum Treatment Value for "New Customer Discount"
New Customer discount can only be applied on any one treatment where price is more than £15. This discount doesn't apply on treatment less than £15.
